Kambaku Safari Lodge consists of eight beautiful thatched chalets and 3 inter-leading family units erected in a semi-circle around a waterhole. You can relax on your private veranda and watch animals coming down to drink. The central lodge areas are built to blend in with the surrounding bush and offers a swimming pool, bar, boma, library and curio shop. There is a game viewing hide and Wi-Fi is available, as well as spa treatments on request. All the accommodation is stylishly designed and decorated for comfort and peace. Room facilities include 4-poster beds draped with mosquito nets, overhead fans, and a safe and en-suite bathroom with shower and bath.

Upon arrival, guests can arrange a 45-minute road transfer to Kambaku Safari Lodge.

Another option is Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), near Nelspruit, offering daily flights from Johannesburg, Cape Town, and other major cities. From KMIA, guests enjoy a 2.5 to 3-hour scenic drive through beautiful landscapes en- route to the lodge.

By Road

Travelling to Kambaku Safari Lodge by road offers the opportunity to explore the scenic beauty of South Africa’s Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces.

Take the N4 towards Witbank, from Johannesburg, then follow directions through Belfast towards Hoedspruit. Upon reaching Hoedspruit, turn south onto the R40 and continue for 8 kilometres before turning left onto the main Timbavati / Eastgate road.

Follow signs for approximately 2.2 kilometres inside the Reserve to reach the lodge.

From Nelspruit, take the R40 towards White River and Hazyview, continuing past Acornhoek towards Hoedspruit. Turn onto the Hoedspruit road, pass Kapama, and follow signs to the Timbavati / Eastgate road.

Once inside the reserve, follow directions for 2.2 kilometres to Kambaku Safari Lodge.
