Johannesburg - Tremisana Game Lodge

Guests are collected from Johannesburg in the early morning and driven to Balule Game Reserve located close to Hoedspruit in the Greater Kruger. Arrive mid-day at your lodge; settle into your chalet, freshen up and relax. We depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset safari tour of Balule Game Reserve. A real treat is a starlit dinner served at Marula Tree Boma which is located deep in the bushveld.

Day 2

Guided Bush Walk and Safari Drive

Early morning wake-up for hot beverages and rusks before setting off to a remote corner of Balule Game Reserve for a 4-hour guided bush walk along the Olifants River with an armed safari guide. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a real bushveld experience while keeping a keen eye on the thick bush for the Big Five and an abundance of antelope, predators and indigenous birds. Return to Tremisana Game Lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments; relax around the lodge until it’s time to depart for the late-afternoon game drive.

Day 3

Full Day Safari Drive in the Kruger National Park

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before setting off for a full-day safari tour of the Kruger National Park. We enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-south and central region. Lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp (for your own cost). Return to your lodge late afternoon.

Day 4

Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and Safari Drive

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and then join your guide for a tour of Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre located on the outskirts of Hoedspruit. The centre cares for injured and orphaned wild animals and birds of prey. The 2-hour excursion includes a photo opportunity with one of the ambassador cheetahs. Return to your lodge mid-day and relax around the camp before it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour game drive in Balule Game Reserve. Overnight in a thatched chalet at Tremisana Game Lodge.

Day 5

Full Day Safari Drive in the Kruger National Park
